Today we have Lindsey and Bryan’s Pipewell Hall Wedding photography to share with you all. This was our first time covering the wedding photography at Pipewell Hall and we loved it. It was a beautiful, intimate venue in Northamptonshire. This was our first time covering the wedding photography at Pipewell Hall. The bedrooms at Pipewell Hall are all unique and very pretty, perfect for wedding preparations. Lindsey had a great big smile on her face all day, she was really relaxed and it was great to see her excitement building as she got ready with her Bridesmaids. Alongside Lindsey’s shoes stood a pair of ‘Weddington’ Boots, this bride was prepared for anything! The boys arrived all in their kilts, they looked fab. The ceremony was followed by canapés and champagne outside in the sunshine. Whilst the guests made their way to the reception Lindsey and Bryan donned their wellies for a walk down to the river. Megan and I in our flats followed along, squish squish squish!!! With all the rain the ground down near the river was like a marsh, wet stinky feet for the rest of the day, yak! It’s amazing what you do as a wedding photographer to get some nice shots!!
The marque was beautiful. Lindsey had sourced lots of vintage bird cages to use as centre pieces for the tables and they looked stunning, decorated with flowers. Dinner was amazing, everyone had a lot of fun watching their chosen server trying to carve Beef Wellington, one with a sword, very entertaining! Desert was followed by the funniest speeches, involving costumes, singing and funny accents. After dinner everyone relaxed, Lindsey and Bryan had booked a caricature artist to entertain their guests, a brilliant idea, people had a great time. The cake was cut and the single ladies gathered outside to catch the bouquet, another hilarious moment, almost a full on fight to get their hands on those flowers! It was a great wedding, Lindsey and Bryan very relaxed and happy all day. All the guests looked like they had a thoroughly good time. It was a lovely venue, Trudie and her team at Pipewell Hall did a fantastic job with the catering and looked after everyone brilliantly and the sun shone, perfect! Here are some of our favourite wedding photos from Lindsey and Bryan’s Pipewell Hall Wedding.
A few thoughts from Lindsey and Bryan about there wedding at Pipewell Hall
Q1) What were your favourite parts of your wedding day?
Getting ready with the girls, walking down the aisle to Bryan, getting officially married, seeing family members and friends together for the first time, and THAT bouquet throwing moment!
Q2) What do you love about being married?
The calm, settled and ‘together’ feeling it brings. Knowing you’re both going the distance!
Q3) Tell us about why you had your wedding at Pipewell Hall and why you chose to get married there?
We chose Pipewell Hall because unlike most fusty old stateley homes, it’s a real home, to real people and the ‘homelyness’ comes across throughout the venue. The interior design is also exquisite and made us feel so special. It’s traditional with a twist!
Q4) What advice do you have for future brides and grooms when planning their wedding?
Plan time to discuss ‘wedmin’ and try not to discuss it the rest of the time, so it doesn’t dominate your lives. If plans change, go with it, don’t panic, it will all work out for the best…honestly! If it’s gonna rain or even flood…just buy Weddingtons 🙂
Q5) Why did you choose Beautiful Life to photograph your wedding day?
The images on the website were stunning and the colours were so vibrant! It felt like you were a fly on the wall at other peoples’ ceremonies…
