Crazy Chinese Wedding Photography at Holland Park
Today we have Fun & Yattong’s Chinese Wedding Photography at the Orangery in Holland Park, london and their reception at the Royal China Restaurant on Baker Street. Fun and Yattong’s Chinese Wedding started early in the morning with traditional Chinese games. Whilst Fun got ready upstairs Yattong arrived with his boys to prove his worth and win his brides hand in marriage. The girls had prepared lots of challenges for them, Chinese games are just fantastic to photograph, so funny! The boys had a makeover, played twister, had their legs waxed and then out came the fruit which had to be passed along using different body parts, hilarious! Loads of pictures that I couldn’t put on this family friendly blog but Fun or Yattong have the full collection! Yattong had to sign a marriage contract before he was allowed to enter and collect his Bride which contained promises like to always give Fun the biggest lamb chop and to rub Funs feet and cut her toe nails when she’s pregnant! Why didn’t I think of that!! Fun and Yattong then had a tea ceremony at both their family homes by the end of which Fun could hardly life her arms with all the gold bracelets! We then traveled to the Orangery at Holland Park for their wedding ceremony. It was my first time covering the wedding photography at Holland Park in London and it was lovely. The Kyoto Garden is beautiful and the waterfall makes a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. We chased the peacocks around for ages trying to get them in a photograph but they were a bit camera shy! Then it was time to leave Holland Park and head off to the Royal China Restaurant on Baker street to host their Chinese Wedding Banquet. They had a Photo-booth which are always very entertaining. All the best men and bridesmaids gave speeches and fun and Yattong cut their very tall cake. We had a lovely day and a big congratulations to Fun & Yattong for inviting us to film and photograph their Chinese Wedding Day.
