Today we have some more lovely Chinese Wedding Photography to share with you all. Yesterday I posted Day One of Mark and Qian’s Wedding at Mottram Hall and as promised here is Day 2. The day started with a hearty breakfast at Mottram Hall as you can see, you hope the boys had something to line their stomaches when you see what the girls had concocted for their Chinese wedding door games!! Qian got ready whilst the girls mixed chilli with anything and everything (I did laugh when I saw them reading the ingredients of some packets to make sure the stuff was actually edible!!!). The boys eventually turned up to be greeted with welcome drinks, they looked delicious covered in cream but they smelled disgusting so I can only imagine how they tasted! Then they had to lick cream from between each others toes, have their legs waxed and pass the seaweed, no hands.
Chinese Wedding door games are just the best thing to photograph although sometimes it’s a challenge to hold the camera still when you’re laughing so much. They all put on their candy G-Strings and performed ‘Gangnam style’. Mark had to eat cake whilst doing press-ups, answer questions about his bride-to-be with more delicious shots to drink as forfeits if he got the wrong answer, then came the infamous singing challenge! Mark finally gained access to his Bride and whipped her away to the reception. Quite a bit of dodgy city centre driving later I arrived at the Glamorous Chinese Restaurant in Manchester. Friends and family came from near and far to wish the newly weds well. Everyone had a great time. All the Wedding receptions I’ve done at the Glamorous have always had fire crackers, which when you’ve heard them once you always think you’re ready for the noise but they catch you out every time, they are so loud, it’s a bit difficult to put your fingers in your ears when your holding a camera! Hope you enjoy the photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them. Thanks Qian and Mark for being so much fun, I hope you have a very happy life together.
